Post Data to Server Webinars

Step 1: Setup Eloqua Form Fields for Webinar

1. Create a Form in Eloqua with registration fields.

2. Include the below hidden fields as static values, or leave empty and have your landing pages assign values for these.

  • eventid
  • key

3. The eventid and key are unique per Webinar and can be pulled from the audience URL https://event.on24.com/wcc/r/eventid/key.

Step 2: Add Post Data to Server Form Processing Step for Webinar

1. Go to the Form Processing Steps and add Post Data to Server

2. For General Settings select Constant Value and add the URL https://event.on24.com/custom/client/eloqua/postreg.jsp

3. For the hidden fields eventid and key, change the Target Fields to 'eventid' and 'key'. All other Target Field option names are listed in the table below.

NOTE: Fields are case sensitive (e.g. 'eventid' and 'key'). Use the exact 'ON24 Target Field' names.

Step 1: Download Webinar Registration App

Download the app at https://cloudmarketplace.oracle.com/marketplace/listing/6237632.

Step 2: Configure Webinar Registration App

1. Add App to campaign canvas.

2. Open the app and click on the edit icon.

3. Add the Event ID and Key for the webinar.

Post Data to Server Engagement Hub

Step 1: Setup Eloqua Form Fields for Engagement Hub

1. Create a Form in Eloqua with registration fields

2. Include the below Hidden Fields as static values, or leave empty and have your landing pages assign values for these.

  • eventId
  • key
  • updateIfExist (always "Y")

3. The eventId and key are unique per EHub and can be pulled from Engagement Hub > Reg > Seamless Registration URL.

Step 2: Add Post Data to Server Form Processing Step for for Engagement Hub

1. Go to the Form Processing Steps and add Post Data to Server

2. For General Settings select Constant Value and add the URL https://ehub-registration-proxy.azurewebsites.net/registration

3. Update the Target Fields names to match our attribute names so that our endpoint in (2) can recognize the data POST to us and add the data to the appropriate ON24 registration fields. See http://apidoc.on24.com/content-gateway-seamless-registration for  the full set of attribute names. These are case sensitive. See below for the required fields:

  • eventId
  • key
  • updateIfExist
  • email

Post Data to Server Target

2. Include the below Hidden Fields as static values, or leave empty and have your landing pages assign values for these.

  • experienceId

3. The eventId, key and experienceId can be pulled from the Seamless Registration URL under Target > Attributes > Seamless Registration URL.
